Trisha Romance's life as an artist began at a very early age. The drive to capture her immediate surroundings and find inspiration in everyday events of life can be traced back to when she was only five years old. This vision and excitement for life continues to be the creative force behind her celebrated work today.
"I thank God continually for the simple moments in life...they feed my soul and forever renew my inspirations" says Trisha.
Trish Romance was born in New York and moved to Canada in 1969 to attend Sheridan College in Oakville, where she received a degree in design and illustration. She now lives in Niagara-on-the-Lake with her family, who have become the loving focus of her many paintings in watercolor. The popularity of Trisha's paintings continue to grow, exceeding her ability to supply the demand. Since 1980, limited edition reproduction prints of the originals have allowed collectors to enjoy her artwork worldwide.
All but a few limited editions are sold out from publishers and therefore only available on a secondary market. Many have increased in value many times the issue price. In 2002 Trisha produced her first giclee on canvas edition "CHRISTMAS AT THE COTTAGE".
"GOLDEN MOMENT" is her second release as both a paper print and giclee on canvas limited edition. Through a large network of galleries, dealers and collectors we are able to source out most titles of Trish Romance's work. Contact us if you are looking or have interest in

"On Christmas night, it has become a tradition in our family to go for a long winters walk after dinner. As snowflakes gently fall, one is easily tempted to linger longer outside, in spite of a much anticipated dessert inside! For while the rose garden softly lies sleeping, little lanterns light the path to a place of silence and calm.
Oh how it reminds me of that reassuring verse from Psalm 119:105 - "Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path."
May God's Light fill your Christmas with special blessings for the year to come." - Trisha Romance
"It was a rare and perfect night when icicles formed and cascaded from every cave and window ledge. What a time of great collecting and sword making!
There was something about that old root cellar door that sloped a path right up to our kitchen window. It had a magnetic attraction that could even distract our Nathan from a magical night of sword collecting!
It was from that vantage point that our little ones could see what was cooking for dinner or what cookies were coming from the oven... but I knew all too well what my dear little ones were really looking for! It wasn't until I went to the window and put my hand against there, that they were content to then be on their way and take a slide back down the old root cellar door!
It was a window forever covered in handprints... no matter how many times it was wiped clean the memories could never be washed away!"
